The problem we solved
Nairobi's short-stay market was a mess
Finding a trustworthy short-stay apartment in Nairobi meant scrolling through dodgy Facebook groups, calling agents who never picked up, and sending M-Pesa to strangers, hoping the apartment actually existed.
Global platforms like Airbnb do not fully fit how Nairobi works either. They often require card payments, charge platform fees, and do not always offer the local verification and M-Pesa-first experience many Kenyan guests prefer.
So we built Qwako Stays. We verify properties, use real photos, confirm availability, and make booking simple through WhatsApp and M-Pesa.
